Participant Checklist
In order to help you get the most out of the SIG Workshop 2025: Quantitative Skills in Environmental Technology: Educational Resources Development for the Classroom, we ask that you do a few things in advance. Here is a list of the preparatory activities and their deadlines.
Before the workshop:
Pre-workshop Tasks
To make the most of the SIG workshop, we would like participants to complete a few preliminary tasks that will likely take 30 minutes to one hour.
- Create a SERC account using your email address associated with your registration. You will use this account to access the private workspace during the workshop, which will be used to take notes during whole-group discussions and small group breakout sessions, and to share resources. An email list will also be created for communication during and after the workshop.
- Review at least one of TMYN-Intro modules and one of the TMYN-Majors modules that you may be interested in using in a course or program.
After the workshop:
- If you haven't already, complete the end of workshop evaluation to provide feedback to the SIG workshop conveners.
