Demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between soil and biomes by designing a controlled investigation of the soil-biome relationship.
For example, design an investigation to discover why the plants growing on the two sides of a pictured slope are different. Note: this is one of the options in the Engage section of this module and described here.
Take a picture of a slope with North and South aspect and ask why the plants are different on the two sides.
