Fostering GEO-STEM Learning Ecosystems: Creating More Diverse, Inclusive, and Resilient Communities Engaged in the Geosciences

The Fostering GEO-STEM Learning Ecosystems: Creating More Diverse, Inclusive, and Resilient Communities Engaged in the Geosciences workshop at the 2019 AGU Fall Meeting in San Francisco was organized by Cheryl Manning, Brandon Jones, Cathy Manduca, and Kevin Bonine. Presentations introduced the STEM Learning Ecosystem concept, its relationship to the current GeoPaths solicitation, and highlighted example Geoscience Ecosystems including the EarthConnections learning Pathways. Participants formed small groups to discuss how to move forward geoscience ecosystems of various types and in different regional and educational contexts.
