Assessing student learning in CURES workshop

You are invited to an In-Person Workshop: Enhancing Assessment of Student Learning in Your CURE to be held at Ursinus College on Monday June 10, 2024, from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm. Ursinus College is located 25 miles north of Philadelphia. The workshop is free and travel support is included (average travel support will be up to $1500 per participant, but more may be made available to those who need it if our budget allows).
This NSF-funded workshop is designed to empower faculty members like you with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively evaluate student learning outcomes in CUREs. Highlights include:
Identify and Refine Measurable Learning Outcomes: Discover how to define clear and meaningful learning outcomes for your CURE that align with your course objectives and expectations.
Select Assessment Instruments: Learn how to choose the right assessment instruments that best match your learning outcomes and the unique context of your CURE.
Customize Assessments: Understand the importance of tailoring assessments to the specific needs and nuances of your CURE, and explore strategies for developing your own assessments when needed.
Make Connections: Network with attendees and facilitators throughout the day and during a working lunch at which attendees are invited to take a few minutes to introduce themselves and any projects of interest..
