Hiring three (3) lecturer positions in Monmouth University Biology Dept.
Each Lecturer will deliver a 12 credit-hours per semester as assigned by the Department Chair. Candidates must be able to deliver one or more of the following courses: Introduction to Cell and Molecular Biology, Introduction to Biodiversity and Evolution, Introduction to Genetics, Anatomy and Physiology, and Microbiology. Additional courses may be assigned as needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate evidence of teaching ability. Candidates should be familiar with current trends in biological education and be committed to mentoring and advising undergraduate students.
The Biology Department has four BS degree offerings: BS in Biology, BS in Biology with a concentration in Cell, Physiology and Molecular Biology, B.S. in Biology with Secondary Education endorsement, and a BS in Marine and Environmental Biology and Policy. The department also delivers courses for Health Studies and the Nursing program.
