The incubator grant led to the project holding several events to create and expand the network.

AK UNiTE Bridge to Mentoring

Friday, September 9, 2022, 1-5 pm

To move from the incubator phase to the full 5-year network grant, we hosted a workshop to share data from the AK UNiTE pilot, unpack the needs of mentoring undergraduate students in Alaska, and drafted a shared learning agenda for the work moving forward. This event was held in person in Anchorage and over Zoom for those unable to travel.

Virtual End of Summer AK UNiTE Shareout

Wednesday, August 18, 2021, 4-5 pm

In this session, we heard about how student research has gone over the summer. We invite all students and partners to come to join the AK UNiTE leadership team for an informal share-out over Zoom.

One Health, One Future Conference

AK UNiTE presented a poster from 10:45 am until 12:30 pm at the One Health, One Future Conference held April 6-11, 2021, through the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Erin Larson presented during a roundtable on January 19. 2021. She presented our ideas for the network to solicit feedback from peers.

First Network Event
