Vision: Students entering STEM classes have a realistic expectation of the time required to succeed - and make appropriate decisions.
Action Steps:
- modify syllabus to include more about my expectations for them, theirs for me
- work with student support systems (such as GPS program at Century)to find how they help students with time management
- ask students do a 24-hour pie chart that includes all their activities
- make lists of characteristics for A, B, C, D students for their use
