This collection of over 1000 geoscience images is made available to the geoscience community and general public for the purposes of enhancing Earth education, and serving the community of science that the American Geological Institute supports. This digital archive was released to the public in June 2003, after nearly a year of work acquiring, scanning, and indexing images. Users may search, browse or submit images.
