In this article, the authors describe the experience of using a particular Student Response System (SRS) in large introductory geoscience courses at the University of Florida - Gainesville. They describe the capabilities of the technology and the particulars of its use in their department as well as the pros and cons based on an informal poll of students in the affected classes.
