Web-based Warm Up exercises can reveal students’ prior knowledge and misconceptions in biology, chemistry, and physics. Based on the strategy of Just in Time Teaching (JiTT), preparatory Warm Up exercises and analysis of student responses can uncover pre-existing knowledge and misconceptions, reinforce class content, and increase active learning.
