A long-time NAGT member and a glacial geologist and educational researcher by training.  I am also a retired community college geoscience instructor, now adjunct faculty at Portland State University where I have done the following…

  • Teaching climate science for conscience majors through the school’s University Studies program. This has included developing an on-line text for the course.
  • Leading field experience courses for the geology program
  • Organizing community climate workshops in conjunction with the school’s Institute for aging.
  • Being a faculty fellow with the Institute for Sustainable Solutions since 2017.
