Welcome & Introduction

In this session Dr. Janelle Bailey welcomes teachers and lets them know that all presentation materials and session recordings will be available on the project website. She shares an overview of the Institute in which participants will experience MEL activities as students and then reflect and debrief the activities as teachers. A Teacher Guide supports classroom implementation and ample time will be given for teacher discussion throughout the Institute. Dr. Bailey also covers logistics and paperwork for participating teachers.
