The Eyes in the Sky II project website has not been significantly updated since 2012. We are preserving the web pages here because they still contain useful and ideas and content. But be aware that the site may have out of date information. For more recent information you may want to explore the GIS/Remote Sensing area of the Teach the Earth portal.

Want to insert a LandSat image in your AEJEE file? Go to this link:

seamless.usgs.gov/

1. Zoom in on the area you are interested in.
2. Use the outline tool in the Download section on the left side of the screen to make the boundary of your map.
3. Before downloading, hit Modify Data Request
4. Select Satellite Imagery, choose Landsat Mosaic. This is a geotiff file that can be easily opened in AEJEE.
