Background Information
I received my Ph.D. from Boston College, with fields in international, labor, and industrial organization. I am interested in comparative systems and institutional methodology. I have been teaching environmental economics, and am interested in interdisciplinary approaches, including natural science. I have served as a regional economist, in the Hudson Valley, NY, and also taught fall, 2010, in Florence Italy. I am recently interested in ethics in economics
Related Pedagogical Projects
I have been involved with the TIP program, and developed several modules. I also published a book chapter related to that work. I think this effort has improved my ability to related to students, to design projects that involve more active learning, and integrate current events, as well as writing and research skills. In spring, I will be teaching the first ever first year seminars at Marist, which are interdisciplinary.
