Background Information

I have almost a decade of experience teaching economic concepts to students from diverse backgrounds. I typically teach more than 200 students each semester using a variety of media including music, movie clips, and i>clickers. I also teach a revamped and strengthened on-line personal finance course. Prior to teaching full-time, I spent 15 years doing research and data analysis in the public and private sectors working for employers such as Ernst & Young, Case Western Reserve University, and Eli Lilly & Co.

I earned both a BA and MA in economics from Ohio University - go Bobcats! I currently live in the small college town of Oberlin, Ohio. I love to read, run, and ski but not necessarily in that order.

Related Pedagogical Projects

I have been involved in SERC conferences and projects in the past and attended CTREE in 2013. I am always looking for new ways to engage students and increase learning. I look forward to meeting and working with everyone at CTREE 2016.
