Gamma-ray spectroscopy system (automated sample changer). The detector is kept at liquid nitrogen temperatures (dewer under cave). The small box on top of the cabinet combines all the functions of the HV power supply, spectroscopy amplifier, and analog-to-digital converter. The resultant spectrum is shown on the computer screen.
