Annual Report to the College of Arts and Science

Purpose

This is not really the instrument but rather a report derived from a couple of different data acquisition formats. The report is shown to illustrate the type of information that we gather and compile annually.

Implementation

Data are compiled annually on a variety of demographic, quality, and productivity issues by soliciting information from faculty, staff, and graduate students both via hard copy and email.

Use of the Data

Data are used for annual reports required locally and for annual comparisons with other geology programs in Ohio and elsewhere, and with published national data.

Effectiveness

Quantitative assessment of key programmatic features is essential and the only way to gather the necessary data is to solicit input from faculty, staff, and students.
