Goals
I would like my diverse group of new science majors to use their broad skill sets, from a variety of science majors, to analyze a common research question and share their results with the broader community.
Specific learning goals:
To broaden and deepen their scientific skills sets and increase their self-confidence as young research scientists.
To to learn collaboration skills to work within and across scientific disciplines and to come to an appreciation of the commonalities and difference in their various scientific fields.
To gain experience in communicating science to the campus and surrounding public spheres.
