National Association of Biology Teachers two-year college section.

The Cyberlearning at Community Colleges (C3) Project focuses on professional development workshops and online collaborative activities for community college biology faculty. Our goals include helping faculty leverage digital library resources, networked computing and communications technologies, and E-science data and tools to engage in cyberlearning strategies. One of our primary strategies for C3 is to help faculty build professional communities and promote scholarly approaches to teaching and learning.

Meetings

National Association of Biology Teachers sponsors two year community college breakfast and reception at the annual meetings.

At American Society for Microbiology conference for undergraduate educators, 27% of attendees were faculty at community colleges.

Two Year College Teaching Award sponsored by National Association of Biology Teacher's Two-Year College Section and McGraw-Hill, this award recognizes a two-year college biology educator who employs new and creative techniques in his/her classroom teaching.
