Promoting confidence in Earth Sciences
How do feelings and emotions affect your learning?

The Promoting Confidence in Earth Sciences website provides lessons designed to increase student success with quantitative aspects of geoscience classes. Confidence and other emotions are part of something called the affective domain and can negatively or positively affect student learning. The lessons found here provide an exploration of the affective domain and practical actions that have a positive influence on learning. There are opportunities to practice these actions and skills, and you can apply these ideas to how you learn best.
