Congratulations to InTeGrate author Sarah Fortner and her team at Wittenberg University

Congratulations to Wittenberg University Professor, InTeGrate module author, and NAGT member Sarah Fortner for being awarded The Lou Laux Environmental Sustainability Award ( This site may be offline. ) for her creativity and effort devoted to cultivating a spirit of environmentalism on her campus. Dr. Fortner is co-author of an InTeGrate module A Growing Concern: Sustaining Soil Resources through Local Decision Making and, in addition, leads the Wittenberg InTeGrate Implementation program with the goal of infusing issues of sustainability across Wittenberg's liberal arts curriculum. Thanks to efforts such as these, for the second time in three years, Wittenberg University has been named by the Princeton Review's Guide to Green Colleges as one of the most environmentally responsible colleges in the country. Congratulations to Dr. Fortner and her team on the recognition of the important work around incorporating sustainability in the classroom.
