Major CMS Overhaul

Building on the 'beta' editor mode that some of you have played with we've now put in place a major reworking of the editing tools in the CMS. The are two most notable elements are:
  • The admin site tools for editing pages have been condensed into a single page and changed to use a RichText editing interface by default. This means most editing can be done without the need for html tags (links, files and images still require the square bracket tags you're familiar with). You can still toggle into a raw html view when needed.
  • Every development page now has a small, red 'Edit' link in the upper right corner. Clicking this will take you into QuickEdit mode where you can make changes to the text without needing to go into the admin site.
There are hundreds of additional small changes that will hopefully make working with the CMS a little more efficient (for those of us spending lots of time in it) or a little easier to learn (for those spending just a little time in it). The documentation has been revised to reflect the new tools. So take a few minutes and skim through the documentation, or just play with the new tools. And let us know what you think.
