This lesson will let me combine advanced excel techniques with visual databases for scientific analysis. I was able to do something similar in excel (downloading online data into an excel sheet (Streamflow-PRecipitation) with my first semester students with great success. This will expand my students database knowledge using AEGEE for scientific prediction. This is adapted from our online telecon 3 session analyzing earthquake data. I liked the fact that we can get online datasets from the USGS(can you tell!!!!!). I wanted to analyze New England Earthquakes-we do get them on occassion with the last one being in Swansee/Somerset a few years back.
