What a year! Here's my first major implementation of a data tools investigation, second coming soon. This lesson has the guided instruction required for middle school instruction. It can be taught as an inter-disciplinary lesson with math and social studies (I teach both on my team). It incorporates a data search and an Excel spreadsheet tabulation and graph. It was incorporated into a unit on contemporary Asian history and culture.
