Innovations in STEM Teacher Preparation
Check out the June
2022 Conference! »Welcome to the Innovations in STEM Teacher Preparation Resource site! This website is designed to provide a curated set of resources for people working in the STEM K-12 teacher preparation space. Users are welcome to upload resources; all resources will be vetted before they are made available in the collection.
Resources in this collection include peer-reviewed publications, white papers, descriptions of innovative curricula and courses, activities, tools and case studies written by STEM teacher preparation experts from around the country. These resources are designed to be useful for STEM teacher preparation stakeholders across the United States and beyond.
The work began with the NextGen-WA STEM Teacher Preparation Project, a collaboration among institutions in Washington state committed to systemic change in teacher preparation so that every K-12 student has inspirational STEM learning experiences; our vision is a larger, more diverse, and more effective STEM teaching workforce. Materials created by NextGen-WA STEM Teacher Preparation Working Groups are included in this collection.
