CILT Visualization and Modeling website

CILT is the Center for Innovative Learning Technologies an NSF-funded center created to develop and study technological solutions of problems in K-14 science, mathematics, engineering, and technology learning. Their Visualization and Modeling website defines a five focus areas in which they’ve been working. Explanations and examples are given in the areas of: 1) Representational approaches for young children; 2) Modeling complex science and mathematics; 3) Simulations, animations, and visual explanations of systems; 4) Instructional frameworks for visualization and modeling; and 5) Visual data analysis tools.
