The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has developed Ready.gov as a way of disseminating information on the best ways to prepare for various disasters and natural events. The Tornadoes page includes things to do to prepare for a tornado, safety precautions to take during a tornado, and what to expect in the aftermath of a tornado producing storm.
