The Chesapeake Bay Observing System (CBOS) provides live insitu data from buoys and weather stations located in and near the Chesapeake Bay. The data includes wind speed and direction, rainfall, temperature, humidity, and salinity. In addition to current conditions, archived data are available by day, two-day period, week, month, three-month period or for a year. Some stations feature voice reporting of current conditions.
