The Climate Change Knowledge Network's Climate Compendium seeks to channel, condense and consolidate the latest and best information in all climate change fields - political, economic, scientific, and legal - into a frequently updated cyber-briefer. It provides background materials and extensive resource guides in order to provide a good starting point for people seeking to better understand the issues related to global climate change. The site is divided into five broad sections: international climate negotiations; domestic policy and implementation; business and technology; scientific research and climate change; and related conventions and agreements. Each section provides an overview with background history, terms, and evolution of the public debate. It also provides guides to articles, reports and websites for further research and education.
