The Consortium for Science, Policy, and Outcomes (CSPO) distributes information encompassing science and its most effective contributions to an improved quality of life for the greatest number of people. CSPO seeks to advance the understanding about connections between science and societal outcomes through evaluating how well existing science initiatives achieve outcomes. The website offers information to describe and develop new policy frameworks that can help increase the positive outcomes of science, prevent or reduce the negative ones, and extend benefits to disadvantaged populations. The site also provides educational opportunities in the area of outcomes-based policy making. The opinions of the writers found at CSPO website are supported by a group of academic pofessionals who are critics of the science policy establishment.
