The Lightning and Atmospheric Electricity Research at the Global Hydrology and Climate Center (GHCC) provides information on lightning-related research and analysis of a wide variety of atmospheric measurements related to thunderstorms. The site contains a lightning primer; information on lightning detection instruments and lightning data, which can be ordered free of charge; an overview of field campaigns and ground validation; and other documents and reports related to GHCC research.
