In the Hurricane Web Quest, students use the links provided to research hurricanes and create a Power-Point presentation on what they find. Students will: discover the life cycle of a hurricane and learn about the different stages a storm must go through to become a hurricane; be able to describe how hurricanes are classified, and when and how a hurricane is given a name; and know how a hurricane gains or loses energy.
