This is the homepage of Environment Canada, the nation's environmental agency. The portal provides access to a variety of materials on environmental issues in Canada, including news articles, events, and environmental priorities. There are links to information on climate change, air and water quality, pollution and waste, and Canadian environmental regulations. The educator's section includes links to lesson plans, activities, and other resources on the Great lakes, pollution prevention, biodiversity, acid rain, and many other topics. There are also links to kid's sites on pollution prevention, internships, Environment Canada's youth programs, and to the Envirozine, an online news magazine that covers current environmental issues of interest to Canadians.
