Since 1994, the Renewable Energy Policy Project and Center for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technology (REPP-CREST) has been a pioneering force, publishing information about renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainability on the Internet. Each type of renewable energy is represented by its own page, accessible from anywhere on the site, that describes the technology and features links to reports and additional information. The Global Energy Marketplace is a database of businesses and organizations that supply energy or environmental products and services. Users can also access information on energy policy and energy efficiency. Other materials include links to reports on various energy issues, discussion groups, and an events calendar.
