The major objective of the American Water Resources Association is to foster a program of information exchange between professionals in water related disciplines. Publications, a yearly symposium, and regional chapters and conferences provide mechanisms for this exchange. Water research topics of focus include surface and ground water quality and quantity monitoring, management and modeling.
