Canada Centre for Remote Sensing: Outreach Materials
http://www.ccrs.nrcan.gc.ca/resource/index_e.php

This is the outreach site for the Canada Centre for Remote Sensing. Materials available here include a searchable glossary of remote sensing terms, and a searchable archive of publications, the Geoscan database, which contains more than 45,000 records. There is also a workshop manual for training in geomatics (the field of scientific and technical activities which integrates all means used to acquire and manage spatially referenced data) and a sixteen-session module for students on remote sensing from satellites. A set of tutorials is also available on a variety of aspects of remote sensing, including fundamentals, image analysis and interpretation, radar remote sensing instruments and techniques, and a kit for younger students that includes a series of fun activities using environmental applications. In addition, there are two collections of imagery, one that features images of Canada and North America, and a virtual tour of Canada that can be accessed by clicking on selected locations on an interactive map.
