American Meteor Society


This non-profit scientific organization was established to encourage and support the research activities of both amateur and professional astronomers who are interested in meteor astronomy. Site features include information on meteor showers, fireball sighting, visual observation, radio observation, and meteor spectroscopy. Society members observe, monitor, collect data on, study, and report on meteors, meteor showers, meteoric fireballs, and related meteoric phenomena. For a nominal cost, users may join as associates and get a subscription to a quarterly print publication.
