Cosmic Quest consists of a report on an expedition to the North Magnetic Pole, an online game to design a space station (with teacher resources), and a field guide to the universe with sections on the solar system planets, spacecraft, and astronomers of the past. Activities related to the North Pole demonstrate why rocks are often found in ice, explain the properties of density, diffusion and buoyancy, and explore layers of liquids with different densities. There is also a list of some Inuktitut words and an Arctic region book list.
