The Climate Timeline (CTL) is a tool for examining climate change and variability at different time scales (days, months, decades, centuries). This site defines variability, links to related resources and offers an interactive climatic variance visualization. It is supported by the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES), the NOAA Paleoclimatology Program, and the National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC).
