This collection of remote sensing animations, images and videos produced primarily from satellite data and computer simulations can be accessed through five different indexes, organized by keyword, instrument, series, scientist, animator, or ID number. The visualizations illustrate not only natural events and processes such as hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, glaciations, global climate change and interesting geographic landforms on the Earth and Mars, but also human features through city flybys and animations of pollution and urban growth. The basic element of the site is a page describing an individual animation.
