University of Bristol

This international organization collects and disseminates geologic and medical data to evaluate and predict volcanic health hazards. The site provides an index of members working in the fields of volcanology, epidemiology, toxicology, public health and physical chemistry with links to their expertise in the areas of ash, gas, and aerosol characterization, water quality, air quality, exposure and risk assessment, and more. The site also provides information about upcoming meetings, news, and publications.

This description of a site outside SERC has not been vetted by SERC staff and may be incomplete or incorrect. If you have information we can use to flesh out or correct this record let us know.

Part of the Cutting Edge collection. The NAGT/DLESE On the Cutting Edge project helps geoscience faculty stay up-to-date with both geoscience research and teaching methods.
