Since 1999, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry has been conducting a number activities related to asbestos in Libby, Montana. This web site presents a brief overview of those activities, including a testing program for people whose health may have been affected by asbestos, a mortality review, an asbestos-related disease registry, a tremolite asbestos toxicological profile, and a case series of patients with asbestos-related disease. The site also features links to other agencies and organizations participating in remediation and reclamation efforts in Libby.
