The Journal of Interactive Online Learning focuses on providing a venue for manuscripts, critical essays, and reviews that encompass disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives in regards to issues related to higher-level learning outcomes. The Journal of Interactive Online Learning is an online publication of the National Center for Online Learning Research, and a joint effort of The University of Alabama and The University of Idaho. This journal of theory, research, and practice in interactive online learning serving all disciplines aims to: provide a forum for the dissemination of research on interactive online education, disseminate ideas that enhance the practical aspects of interactive online education, further knowledge and understanding of emerging innovations in online education, foster debate about the use and application of online education. Users can access current and past issues of the journal and find guidelines for submitting articles.
