This review used geographic information systems in combination with historical maps to quantify the anthropogenic impact on the distribution of malaria in the 20th century. It was printed in the journal The Lancet, Infectious Diseases, Vol 4 June 2004. It contains multiple graphs and tables of malaria data that will be useful to anyone who wants to know more about the state of malaria in the world.
