Kingsley, an associate professor in the school of public policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology, discussed the changing allocation of federal funds for improving science education. Dr. Kingsley is also a principal investigator on a National Science Foundation project to study the impact of educational partnerships, including those between universities and schools, on the development of math and science instructors and teaching. The Chronicle of Higher Education’s Jeffrey Brainard moderated the discussion while several people asked Dr. Kingsley questions.
