This site features multi-disciplinary research about Antarctic sea ice. This research seeks to understand the role of Antarctic sea ice in the coupled atmosphere-ice-ocean system, and also to produce a set of recommendations to international science agencies on the key issues relating to Antarctic sea ice thickness and priority areas of research. An interesting feature of this site is an illustrated glossary of many types of sea ice. Workshop information and publications are also available.
