Environmental Law Institute

This organization works with local and regional partners in the United States and worldwide to strengthen environmental laws, to develop new approaches to ensure their effectiveness, and to improve the capacity of citizens and governments to use the law to protect the environment. The site focuses on four areas; water resources, land and biodiversity, integration and innovation in environmental governance, and global sustainable development. Each focus area contains several topics of interest as well as objectives the organization would like to see realized. There is also a link to environmental laws that are endangered.
