F Camacho A Haddad, Applied and Environmental Microbiology

This Applied and Environmental Microbiology journal abstract describes the study in which select epibiotic bacteria associated with the polychaete Alvinella pompejana were phylogenetically characterized through the analysis of 16S rRNA gene sequences. These gene sequences were analyzed by a variety of phylogenetic inference methods and found to be related to the newly established epsilon subdivision of the division Proteobacteria. The abstract includes a link to the full-text PDF version.
