Keeping your Research Alive

This article in the Chronicle for Higher Education gives advice for faculty trying to keep their research going amidst teaching and other responsibilities. The author recommends four things that professionals can do to help maintain research productivity: set aside particular times of the week when you can work free from interruptions, look beyond the narrow focus of your dissertation or postdoctoral studies, find colleagues with whom you can collaborate on a regular basis, and don’t let your research become dormant.
