This 16 page PDF provides information about the reclamation of the Zortman and Landusky gold mines in the Little Rocky Mountains of north-central Montana. The objective of this study was to identify the location, extent, current and probable future contaminant loads from the sites; and to identify candidate materials for suitable cover and remediation purposes. This paper describes the material characterization program and predicted future water qualities developed for the Zortman/Landusky reclamation project.
